【Background】

【Technical Principle】

Performing an "indirect" ELISA for determining Rta-IgG antibody concentrations The high-purified Rta antigen is coated on a polystyrene microtiter plate. By adding the blood sample in which the detection antibody Rta-IgG is added, forming a complex with the Rta antigen. The complex can be detected by a secondary antibody (goat-anti-human IgG) conjugated with enzyme HRP. After the final wash step the plate is developed by adding an enzymatic substrate TMB to produce a visible signal, which indicates the quantity of Rta-IgG in the sample with its OD value measured by a plate reader.

【Clinical Application】

It is easy to use, and is capable of running on manual mode or automated platforms. The proprietary technology within NPC diagnostic kit lies in the antigens coated onto the wells, which are highly specific to NPC. These DNA-recombinant antigens work on antigen-antibody binding principles and have been tested on thousands of samples and give clinically-accepted accuracies.
